| Floating Wood and Hardwood | Free lay QuietDown panels. Tape the seams. Float the laminate floor directly on top, or nail the hardwood directly through the QuietDown. |
| Tile and Stone | Trowel a bed of latex modified thinset mortar. Lay QuietDown Max HB into the mortar bed. Add another layer of thinset on top of QuietDown Max HB and lay the tiles. |
| Engineered and Solid Wood (double-stick process) | Glue down QuietDown Max HB. Glue down the engineered/solid wood directly to QuietDown Max HB. |
